The Brief
Following its acquisition of two British companies – GBN Services and O’Donovan Waste – Swedish resource management company, Sortera, recruited LBPR to support its marketing and communications efforts around the integration of the two companies, the launch of Sortera in the UK, and beyond. While Sortera is a well-known and highly regarded company in the Nordics, it was a largely unknown entity in the UK, even among those in the resource management industry. LBPR’s task is to establish Sortera’s brand position in the UK and supercharge the company’s marketing and communications efforts through social media content, community engagement, internal and customer comms and trade media relations
The Results
LBPR established Sortera’s brand position, coming up with ‘A New Way For Waste’ as the concept to build upon. We established Sortera’s social media presence through teaser content, kept its employees engaged on the integration journey through regular internal comms including updates from the MD and newsletters which celebrated outstanding efforts. Upon launch, we ensured a splash through earned media coverage in key trade media, events hosted at each of the company’s depots, and strategic partnerships across social media with the industry’s pre-eminent publication.
