Climate change is certainly a worrying thought for us all. No matter who you are, or where you come from, it’s something that will affect everyone if we don’t take action to stop it in its tracks.
Julia, Sara and Christina, founded FUL Foods with this in mind. Together, the trio have harnessed the benefits of microalgae to create delicious food and beverage products which are not only good for your body, but also good for the planet.
FUL foods were preparing for the launch of their first ‘climate active’ drink in the United Kingdom, but wanted some assistance in demonstrating to the UK food and drinks market and media, that FUL is really something to shout about.
The challenge here was that Ful Revive was not yet available in the UK. Therefore, the traditional new product media relations opportunities were not available to us. We realised that the story of the three female founders was the way to go on this one. We sold this angle to the UK food and drinks media and approached Sky News about doing an exclusive feature on the story of Ful on their Climate Show.
We also approached Coach gym in London’s Mayfair and secured the opportunity to provide Ful Revive as the refreshment at their media launch, getting the product into the hands of high profile health and wellness journalists.
Lionbridge secured coverage for Ful in titles such as the Grocer, the Metro, the Morning Advertiser, Food and Drink Network and a feature on Sky News. Ful has now secured a UK distributor and is now widely available.
