Launch of the year award
Upp is an ultrafast broadband provider, bringing its full-fibre network to the East of England. However, full-fibre broadband is a crowded market, and Upp needed to ensure that its voice and excellent offering was heard loudly amongst the rest. So, Upp tasked Lionbridge with painting its target towns 'blue and grellow'.
To demonstrate that Upp wasn’t just turning up in towns to dig up roads and cause disruption, the Lionbridge team set to work on finding community engagement opportunities and meaningful sponsorship that supported the people, events and charities in each town.
Since 2021, the LBPR team have secured over 200 pieces of regional and national coverage, partnered and sponsored over 100 different charities and events, and in 2022, won a PRCA DARE award for the launch of Upp in Stamford, Lincolnshire.
